How it works, at a glance

• We review it against our current designer roster and catalog gaps.
• Approved applicants receive a private designer packet under NDA — full terms, template, submission spec, and everything you'd need to list a first plan.
• If our terms work for you, you sign, list your first plan, and we start distributing.

What we hold back until you apply

Pricing, royalty structure, template files, and submission specifications are private. We share them under NDA with designers we've approved. This isn't secrecy for its own sake — it's how we protect the designers who've already signed on and the operational IP we've built. If that's a dealbreaker, this isn't the right fit.

What we can say publicly: it's non-exclusive, you keep your copyright, you can pull your plans any time, and every sale earns you a substantial share of the sale price.

What we look for

• A real portfolio with at least one completed steel-frame, post-frame, or metal-building residential plan set — not just conventional wood-frame homes.
• Fluent AutoCAD (.dwg / .dwt) or Revit workflow.
• Ability to work to a uniform template — every plan in our catalog looks like it came from the same shop.
• Turnaround discipline. We deliver to real builders on real timelines.
• US building code fluency preferred; international designers welcome if the work stands up.

Timeline after you apply

We review applications on a rolling basis, usually within a week. If your fit is strong you'll hear back with the NDA and packet. If it's not, you'll get a short note either way — no ghosting.
